Rear view mirror and camera
What I'd like to do is move rear view camera screen off rear view mirror to able to to view rear of coach.
Anyone done this or have ideas to a suction cup or bracket to remove screen from rearview mirror???

I plan on doing the same thing on my Ford F150. When I do it I'll let you know how it goes.

If it's the Pyle unit, it just has spring loaded clamps. You just push them apart and it comes off. But you will have to unhook the cable by removing the overhead compartment and finding where it connects to the camera. It is removed by gently pulling down on the curbside side (the overhead compartment is held in with spring loaded clamps on that side, and with flat legs on the other. Pull it down, and then to the curbside (right as you face it) and it will fall away. Then follow the wire from the monitor and unplug it.
It's easy to do. You can, if you want, re-route the cable and display the rear view camera image in the Kenwood deck.

It is held on to the mirror with two spring loaded clamps. You can pull it off and put it anywhere you were wish, but you will have to figure out some way to mount it.

Yes, there is the original Sprinter mirror underneath, and aftermarket one simply hangs on it. Just pull it out by hand.

Or have the rear view camera image show up on your Kenwood double DIN-

You have to get an RCA jack video extension cable, run it from the RCA out from the camera located overhead in the compartment, and run it to the back of the Kenwood deck's RCA video input.
I actually have a RCS jack dual splitter, and display both images, one on the camera and the other on the Kenwood deck because the picture on the mirror/monitor is so poor.

What he said.
Take it to a car stereo store.
Around here labor might be $65.
I have 2 cameras using my Alpine double DIN as a monitor with an a/b toggle switch.
Up is the truck's backup camera.
Down is the camera on the back of my trailer.

Thanks you Gentelmen, and I would prefer to do it my self, not because of the money but in order to safe parts or some clips, etc, that they will most likely brake. The most challenging is to remove the Kenwood unit...

I am with you, just haven't gotten around to it.
Not sure if there is room but was thinking about fabricating a bracket and mount it over the mirror.

To answer your original question w/o rewiring anything, I got a visor clip on mirror and when I need to see what's going on in the rear, just flip the sunvisor down and viola, there it is.

I installed a wireless rear view camera on the truck, and one on the trailer, both on the same frequency. Each has it's own on/off switch. When not hooked up, I see what is behind the truck. When hooked up, I turn off the truck camera, turn on the trailer camera and see what is behind the trailer.

Hello - what wireless rear view camera do you have on your trailer? I've heard about communication issues with wireless cameras being too far from the receiver and having lots of aluminum in between.. but I'd really like to get one I can one that works... Thanks! :-)

Similar to my setup, but the truck camera is wired and the trailer camera is wireless on my rig.
