Rear sofa removal
So how do you remove the sofa bottom seat cushion on a 2016 GT Ext? I see a nut on each side towards the rear to remove to lift it off, are there more?
Does the seat need to be reclined to lift the bottom cushion? Assuming that is the case and there is no power to the sofa, any other way to remove it? Asking for a friend 😁
If yours is like my 2013 there are two nuts (1/2") on the seat back that you remove from the rear. There are two bolts with nuts (7/16") on the front of the seat bottom. You need to recline couch a bit to get the seat bottom to slide forward for access to the phillips screw head..

Any thoughts how to make it slightly recline without power? Maybe I can get a angle Phillips screwdriver in there.

You’re going to have to keep the battery connected till you get it reclined to where you need it before you remove the sofa back and then do what you need with the sofa again before you disconnect the battery. The sofa may be one of those things that stay live even with the battery switch by the slider turned off.
