We got around 18.4mpg in the Southern Hills of IN., but using a little more LPG than I'd like boondocking in parking lots.

My husband was there (season tickets) but not with our Interstate. That was home being worked on by me. Later in the season, I will likely go a time or two. It has to be cool enough to leave our dog in the Interstate.

Oh lord. I remember those bugs. The Florida turnpike rest plazas had a stream of cars going through an area with a permanent water spray nozzle aimed at windshield height. In bug season, it was on 24/7 to help wipers clear the bug carcasses off the glass. Built-in windshield squirters were totally inadequate. In bug season, you keep your windows shut even if you didn't have A/C.
Can't imagine how motorcycle drivers and riders dealt with the bugs. (Don't be smiling? Yuuucchh)

Yeah, well, you're a tolerant soul. As I sit here and type, it's 6:33 a.m. and 79 degrees in greater Houston. And we are supposed to be mid-90's again this coming week. I'm in wait mode. I'm done with heat for this calendar year. It seriously needs to cool off. Finally.

At Tillicum it was in the upper 60's during the day and lower 50's at night. Perfect for walking! Don't know about the sea though.
Now we're at Lassen Volcanic Park staying at the Manzanita Camp Ground, the rest are closed already. Several Airstream trailers there.

I see you added cargo carrier and ladder. Did you relocate antenna? And be careful with clearance, your probably nearing min 10-11'.

So far so good when I bought it I didn't notice it was the only interstate with a ladder and that they didn't come that way. The box opens from the rear and gives a good spot for stuff I need but don't need everyday
