I know at least one of you replaced your patio light... does anyone know how to remove this cover or lens without scratching the paint?
I've already tried inserting a thin jewelers screwdriver into various places to carefully find the right method but no luck. I just need the lens off so i can line the inside with a warming colored gel sheet. (I will also mask the top 2/3 with black tape so I don't light up the neighbors campsites, I had done this on the outside with good success and now will tape on the inside.)
If it has a plastic lens, if all else fails drill a 1/16” drain hole at the lowest point of the lens.
