How has your hitch carrier been working out for you?
(I’m taking the AI up in the hills today, with the Electric Motion ‘Escape R’ on the back)

Holding me until I order the VersaHaul…. The one I have now is not for a small wheel scooter….Too much effort to load and unload…

What batteries did you install in the stock undercarriage brackets?

Are you able to swivel your table to the front of the van while the seats are forward? I want to make one like yours, and be able to use the table as a shared armrest for driver and passenger while driving.

I never have tried it. I'll let you know. I think the table is too wide to fit.

If that was for me, I documented those in the thread when I did the install. I went with Lifeline GPL-24T, same batteries that were installed from factory.
Got them from here: https://batteryguys.com/products/lif...nt=32270600516
But shop around as I have seen them for less in other places. At the time, they had the lowest price.

I have never tried that... we use the arm rest from the chairs.
And we keep the center clear while driving since my wife would get up and go to the bathroom, or to get water, or... So the center always stays clear of anything...

I never understood that question and since I don't have a table like yours so I could not initially contribute an opinion. But why use a table for a shared arm rest when padded individual arm rests are there? Now a shared arm rest would be nice for holding hands? But I'm too old and been married too long - my wife just wants to be left alone to snooze while I drive.

Drove from Orlando, FL to Virginia last Friday… was supposed to travel back early today but the darned EPS error message came back. I bought and replaced myself, the left front ABS/Speed sensor with an original part (from the local MB dealer $$$$)… The I tried to reset everything with my AUTEL AP200 reader, but still nothing. The AI, after switching to D, would not even go out of first gear… I had to drive really slow (25mph) for 22 miles to the nearest dealer…
I hope they can sort it out tomorrow… we had to cancel our Thanksgiving dinner at home since we can’t be sure we will make it back in time..
We are making the best of it… got some more local wine and enjoying a glass of wine to relieve the stress….
With friends and family….

At least the good news is that the local dealer, Mercedes-Benz of Chantilly, has the new rear wheel speed sensors and will be able to also perform the recall...
Waiting to hear from them on what they find and if we can be back on the road today...
Just fortunate that we are with family... My wife is spending some quality time with her sister...
And we are helping our friends with inventory control of their wine...
And our mindset after my wife calmed down...

Forgot to confirm... the issue in my AI was: The front left wheel speed/ABS sensor and both rear sensors going bad....
The trip back home was uneventful.
We have a few more trips plan this year... going to visit family in Pascagoula, Mississippi and we want to spend a few days in Savannah, GA.

I'm wondering whether this something new, or maybe you haven't yet brought your unit in for the prior emissions recall campaign? If the latter, maybe this is how they are trying to capture and fix emissions on a few more units?

I received one too. Have not been in yet. I get oil change service every year and they did not mention anything just 2 months ago.

I received one also. In looking at some other sprinter forums it appears to be an emissions issue and there were some posts suggesting it was an actual de-tune that robbed power. Maybe someone with more mechanical knowledge can chime in if they have an opinion but I think I will pass on this one .

For a moment I thought the newer ones were going to be included in that spree of money they were giving out to the older units... Does not look like that is the case.
I might make an appointment for next week to take it in.

This is getting a lot of use in those trips where one of us is working while we travel...
And ready for using when we stop to have a meal... very happy with this modification...
