Optional Front Bed, 2020 Interstate.

Anyone using the optional front bed on an interstate. I have a build date of April 23 for my new Interstate Lounge and also ordered optional bed however I’ve heard it takes a lot of storage. Can anyone confirm? I’m wondering if I should cancel the option and save $800. This is my second interstate, after a two year break, and know space is at a premium.

Is the front bed an inflatable mattress or another configuration? We have the inflatable one though it isn't Airstream brand and it works pretty well. Yes it uses space for its two inflatable pieces and yes the length is more suitable for kids. However, an adult has used it and it works okay for a night or two.

No it’s not inflatable. It’s looks like the same material and finish of the Seating in the van. I’m just concerned where to put when not using it. Which inflatable bed are you using?

I'm using the one sold by Pleasure Way. Here is a link to a thread showing that option along with some others.

Do you have a picture or link to the new Airstream version?

I don’t have a picture. I believe it’s not inflatable.it apparently comes with its own bedding and fits good on the front seats. I’m just worried about hom much storage room it takes

Check out the Luno bed! https://lunolife.com/products/van-fr...air-mattress-1

We are going with that. Stores pretty compact.

The front bed is very nice, very well built, and comfortable enough that my high school age son was happy sleeping on it. However, it is heavy and does take up a fair amount of space. We have a 24GT and found the bed to be worth it. Would definitely not do it with a 19 ft model.
