On the road service needs in Oregon

I’m not sure where to post this but I need AC service on my 2014 Airstream Sprinter. I’m on the Oregon coast at Coos Bay. Any suggestions for service providers?

The closest AS dealer to you that I know about is Sutton, in Eugene. I haven't bought from them, but did deal with them when I was looking. If the Service Dept. is half as pleasant to deal with as Sales, then you might do well there.

You don’t need an Airstream dealer for an air conditioner issue on a 7-8 year old rig,

Unless you get a more specific suggestion here, do an online search for RV service near you, make some phone calls and ask for recommendations.

Good luck,

Maggie

Where you need to get service depends if it is the dashboard AC (Mercedes dealer) or rooftop AC (any RV dealership since the rooftop AC is not unique to Airstream)

I don't know where or how you're camping, but campgrounds sometimes have off-site RV service providers they rely on when their campers need help. In fact, call the nearest campground (if you're not in one) to you and ask them for recommendations in area. Good luck!

He's a bit north of you at Florence, but Morry Bernard at WestCoast Mobile Rv Repair is a good guy. 541.991.2101

I've had repairs done in Coos Bay at Tony's, Gibbs, and Porter's. The coast is a great place to get repairs, because they work with a lot of tourists and park hosts. I'd call Porter's or Tony's first. Porter's is a block from the Fred Meyer store.

Hi

In general, mobile RV service isn't the low cost option. If the A/C is dead and needs to be replaced, driving over to a dealer probably is a better bet. Without further info on what's going on, I have no idea if this is likely the case or not ....

Service on the RV air conditioner is generally going to be a replacement unit and those may be hard to find right now. Service on the vehicle AC is probably going to involve a new compressor. At least those are my recent experiences. I do not know anything specific about Oregon repairs except that Oregon is an awful nice place this time of year. And if you stay right on the coast you might get by without an AC but you will sure need it to get back to NC. So good luck. The only work I have had done in Oregon is tires in Salem and the shop I went to was excellent.

RV repair in Eugene Oregon

The best repair shop in Oregon certainly the best one in Eugene is quality Coach services. If you can get in they are the best there is the most honest and most reasonable. I've been using them for over 10 years on both airstream and non airstream trailers do a Google search for quality Coach services if you can get in you will not be disappointed!
