Oil Change

Just purchased a ValvoMax to replace oil drain plug.
Anyone use it pros/cons?

I have the Fumoto valves installed on my vehicles; never a problem in years and miles of use. It makes oil changes a breeze.

Not familiar with the ValvoMax. We have Fumoto valves on all of our vehicles. Very pleased with them. Not having to get a wrench, or socket and ratchet, and avoiding the mess of plug removal makes the process of an oil change easier.

Well... this one addresses my concern with the other options...

Looks like I have one more oil spill to go... when I replace the plug with this system.

Will be ordering one. Docevil87, thank you for sharing!!

I do not see Sprinter listed... which one did you order?

Threads specs for the plug: M14x1.5x24 But they do not list that, only year, make, model and Sprinters are not listed.

Hey wachuko
I ordered right off the Valvo max web site, it lists sprinter 3500. I was on amazon and another site and I don't think I saw it listed. Sorry don;t know how to provide link.

Strange... that is what I tried to do. I ended up sending them an email to check. Here is the link to the website:

https://www.valvomax.com/

Ohhh... I see what the problem is... first of all, their year list only goes to 2016. Mine is a 2018 AI on a 2017 Sprinter.... so I picked 2016... that does not show Sprinter on the drop down list... If I select 2014 for the year, then Mercedes Benz, then I can see Sprinter 3500 V6 3.0L listed...

Got it
