I understand that we need to turn on generator to the turn a/c on in the back roof a/c compressor unit. But, If we are connected to shore power, can we operate a/c on 30 amp electric in a full plug in rv campsite without turning on generator?
I also have a 30 to 15 adapter that I use when I am home to keep everything charged and the fridge and freezer/cooler running. The A/C will not run in this setup... just fyi.

Yep, the beauty of full hookups I run it all day when hooked up coz my lazy a** hates cleaning in tight quarters.
It will run on a regular 20 amp connection (regular home plug) as well. Mine pulls about 14 amps when running.
Just did this as well... Thought it wouldn't but never tried to turn it on until we were packing to leave for this trip. I figured I would try it and it worked. Wish I would have tried it months earlier. [emoji3]

Darn it! I had not even tried that, afraid it would trip the breaker... great to know!!

The generator on our 2017 is only 20 amps, as I recall. I have run everything (microwave, water heater) at home. Of course you cannot run any of those three devices at the same time.
