moving xm radio antenna

I need to move my Sirius antenna due to solar panels install .Has any one done this ? My panel covers about half of it now and effects reception. Is there enough wire below that I could raise it and move it about three inches to clear the panel?

The radio cable terminates to a standard rf connectors. Just undo it from the roof, identify the connector and get an extension cable. I am sure it is a standard assembly on Amazon.
