MCBA club discount

I used to be a member of the Mercedes Club but it lapsed. They are offering me a special deal to rejoin. Does anyone know if you can claim the $500 discount on a new Interstate if you have not been a member for a full year? I know I get free membership when I get the interstate but it would be too late to claim the discount.
