MB MBUX Audio Output?

I have a 2023 AI 19 with the MB MBUX head unit. I would like to deliver the audio output of this unit to the Fusion head unit installed by AS. I think there is an audio output for the MBUX but wonder if anyone has tried this? The MB factory speakers are not very good and do not fill the van in the back. I like the MBUX interface better than the fusion for XFM and USB stored music.

I'd be interested in the same thing.

Do you have details on a audio output from the MBUX head unit?

Did a bit of research and found the Fusion MS-RA70 installation manual that details the Auxiliary IN wiring harness. Not sure what Airstream Included on back side or the Fusion unit. Will have to pull out the unit to see the back side. Attaching a copy of the MS-RA70 installation manual and a link to the required wiring harness for information.

The AUX inputs for Fusion are on a different port from the speaker outputs. On our van, the connector wasn't installed but came with the van. You have to remove the Fusion to install it. (see page 5 of the Fusion manual: https://static.garmin.com/pumac/Fusi...Install_EN.pdf)

I was heading in the same direction as swilly43, but from what I have been able to determine, the MBUX does not have line outs just amplified speaker outs, which killed that idea. I ended up routing the TV into the AUX input on the Fusion. Added front speakers to the Fusion and changed the sub woofer to use the line level subwoofer outs on the Fusion. Now the Fusion's sound is at least tolerable, and much better than the MBUX. We prefer using the Fusion over the MBUX while driving.

I hope someone comes along and tells me I'm wrong and that there are pre amp/line level outputs on the MBUX. That would open up some nice possibilities.

Yes, I have the aux cable for the Fusion and was able to connect it but do not have enough information on the MBUX. Will continue to research this. Thanks

I also have the Fusion aux output cable that came with the Van from Airstream. Since the MBUX does not offer an Aux output you will have to use a Speaker Wire to RCA Line-Out Converter. They exist, but I've never used one and don't know how it would impact the MBUX speaker output. Here are a couple of links I found.

Thank you, Mike. Your contributions in this forum are very much appreciated. I have some questions into Crutchfield and will repost the answers once I have them.

Sorry for the hijack: JIM MARTIN, how did you end up routing the TV into the AUX input on the Fusion? I tried a Bluetooth sender from the TV but audio-video sync was awful.

I'm using Bluetooth as well, but both the transmitter and receiver support aptX (low latency) which avoids the audio latency issue.
Here's what I have connected to the TV:

And this is what I have connected to the Fusion's AUX port:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5X52XPZ/
I installed a connection to the AUX port next to the Fusion's USB connection on the overhead shelf on the passenger side.

With this setup, people's lips are in sync with the audio.
