Alex’s current setup, by whatever dark and mysterious magic he used, will let him input addresses while in motion (his co-pilot of course, not him while driving)

That's what I thought. Mine has always let me, so it must have come that way.

MANSDERM161 & WACHUKO - I know "Ignorance of the law is no excuse" but I still plead ignorance I truly do not know how I fully un-locked nanny-controls to even allow watching YouTube while in motion. Did not do that before

Lol...its possessed! At Mercedes now. Driving in Arkansas and back drivers side sensor (red triangle) kept coming on when no one was around me. They say it happens a lot but usually on the right. Anyone have that experience? My guess is they won't be able to duplicate it or do anything, but thought I'd get it checked out anyway

Glad to report that I have not experienced that... keep us posted.

And on Alex custom coded Fusion unit... he hacked away and not sharing the details of the hack All that enabled when on the move!! Man!

I tried deleting the profile in the update application and still could not get it to install the same version combination Alex has... I gave up on it... it works... we just load the addresses before we go and Go Home works just fine while on the move... blah blah blah

Yes, same for me - on the drivers side. It does not do it all the time but a bit aggravating when it happens. I had it at the MB dealer about a month ago for the crosswind assist install and second wheel sensor replacement and asked them to take a look at it. They told me there was a problem with the blind-spot sensor but the only way to check it was to remove the rear bumper at a cost of about $400. They told me the rear bumper is an Airsteam add-on so not covered under MB warranty. I'm about 3 hours from my Airstream dealer so i'm making my list. My warranty will up next July.

Wow. I've been here 2.5 hours. They floor opened up and running a computer thru it....looking. .he said it's finicky ...but no one mentioned blind spot in the rear bumper. Don't know if they are aware of that. I'll see how it ends up. I may have to go to airstream too.

Ok. So 3 hours later, all in warranty..TG, and there was a small piece of a bug stuck on the drivers side blind spot sensor...that obviously stayed there despite driving thru an entire day of rain and my washing the rig by hand and with powerwasher.

At leas it was something simple and completely unrelated to the sensor...

Reminds me the day I thought my car was catching on fire and it was an acorn stuck between the brake pad and the rotor creating the burning smell...

MANSDERM161 - I not surprised. My wife's new car gives out 'Service Rear Parking Sensor' message half of the time after it rains. It is also part of the Blind Spot Sensor system. Just that little bit of dirt that gets pulled up the rear bumper is enough to mess it up. The wife complained - "hate this, it so sensitive". I retort, "you told me when we were dating you wanted that in men". That smart-a** comment cost me a nice dinner at Red Rock Casino

Luckily, I clean the cars asap after a rain event. Annoyed me at first when I thought something was already broken with only 900 miles on it. Still teeny bit annoyed, but at least I know it just dirt. Our 2005 minivan, which logged 170,000 miles when it was replaced by this new car, not once had issue with its rear sensors, even in much worse conditions.
