Interstate repair needed in Denver

We are currently in Denver on a month long trip out west in our 2017 Interstate Grand Tour, on our way to the Airstream Rally at the Sun Balley Jazz Festival. Our sliding step has stopped working and we need to find an authorized dealer to repair it. Does anyone have a referral? That’s a looong step down for us short legged people!

I had a small repair done by Ketelson Campers a couple of months ago, on referral from Interstate Batteries.

They did a good job, at a reasonable price, and took me in off the road.

There is also a Camping World out there, who would not consider an emergency repair, but referred me to a mobile repair guy.

You didn't say what the problem is, so try these:

1) With the van off, open the door and tap the little black rectangular thing (the magnetic sensor) on the door sill near the rear of the door opening. The magnetic switch tends to stick.

2) Make sure Step/Hold is set to Step. Then with the door closed, start and stop the van engine a couple of times.

You. Are. Amazing! That “hit it with a hammer” trick fixed the problem! BIG THANKS from the Puckmobile crew.

Thank you so much Lily&Me for the referral. Thanks to Tayara Travel, the step is working but I now have a couple of electrical gremlins driving me crazy so will stop to see if they can find out why I seem to have a parasitic draw depleting my house batteries.
