Interstate GPS

Hi, the GPS in my 2018 Interstate GT does not speak clearly. Is there anything I can do to make it sound better. I can't understand the lady giving me directions while driving, the voice is so choppy it is so hard to understand.

My Fusion in my 2018 speaks very clearly. I often have both the Fusion and my dash-top trucker's GPS navigating simultaneously, just for kicks. The Fusion speaks as clearly as the dash-top unit.

You may have a bad connection somewhere between the Fusion and the speakers.

Just My Two Cents

First let me confirm. I have a 2018 Airstream Interstate Grand Tour. It has the Fusion System in it. I have updated the software. The audio is in deed choppy. What usually happens is it gets better as the drive continues.

There is nothing I have come up to do to fix this. I have increased the volume so I can here it over my Sat Radio. That made it at least easier to understand.

Always double check your route with Waze. Always make sure you have the right dimensions in the GPS brain so it routes you correctly and does not add a bunch of miles. Dimensions are weight, height, and so on.

It is my hope that future versions of the Interstate has a much better system and is much easier to use. Just my two cents.

Most GPS models have a choice of voices in settings. Perhaps one of the other voices sounds clearer.
I used to return rental cars with the GPS changed to Japanese.
