Installing FMCA plates

I did not want to mount my FMCA plate nor my GOOD SAM plate on the Interstate so I scanned both signs and had VistaPrint create magnetic signs which we now have no the front and rear.

Excellant idea. I also do not want to mount the FMCA plate. Your solution is a good one!!

Watch for moisture under those signs. Does not do the clear-coat on the paint much good.
Keep them dry and clean.

Thanks, kept in a heated and conditioned garage when not on the road. And when I wash I remove and dry both before putting back on.

So did I, for close to two years. Then I noticed that there was some minor discoloration of the clearcoat under the magnetic sign, and decided it was better to go bald (as in, no WBCCI numbers on my Airstream). Which is only fair, I guess, my Airstream and I are a matched set in that regard!
