Hugger RV Cover

Hi,

Has anyone used this cover or another brand?

I don't have access to indoor or covered parking for my AI and she needs some cover.

FYI - I'm located New England.

Thanks for the input

Given my effort just to put the windshield cover on, I would think that a full cover would be a real struggle unless it was suspended on some sort of frame where you could drive under. At the best, it would be a two-person job using poles to raise the cover.

Suggest you do some research. Most say no to covers as they will be very hard to handle and will scratch your paint.

Actually, the cover itself probably won't scratch the paint. But any dirt or debris caught in the fabric will scratch the paint when the wind causes the fabric to flap in the breeze.

Also, I second the concerns about how you put it on and take it off. Putting a cover on a 23- or 25-foot long, 10-foot tall, and 6½-foot wide block of fine German steel, with antennas and solar panels and vents and stuff on the roof has to be the RV equivalent of a Chinese fire drill, requiring at least two burly, muscular fellows with good balance standing on tall stepladders. Probably starting at the front end, and with a third, small nimble fellow on the roof to guide the cover over all of the protrusions until he gets to the back end and climbs down.
