Hello total newb with a question...

Hello all! I just picked up an Airstream interstate Wardrobe or 24GT. I am figuring quite a few things out, I'm not new to camping, or even glamping. I've read through all the manuals and have been a silent watcher on the forums for a while doing research before purchasing.

Anyhow, my question is, the lights switches by the sliding side door. The panel on the left has the outside light and water heater switch, but what does the middle switch control? For the life of me I can't find it in a manual or see what it is working!

Thanks in advance!

Keesha

I don’t have the same model but it’s possible it’s the water pump switch. Sorry if that is not helpful..!

You can find out if you turn the water on in the bathroom or kitchen and flip the switch. If your water stops flowing or starts to trickle, it’s more than likely your water pump.

There’s a good book on Amazon, if I remember right, that is good reading for Interstate owners. I’ll see if I can’t find the title. It explains how and why things work better than the manual.

Hey there! Thanks for the reply. I'll look forward to the book suggestion. My water pump switch is over the kitchen counter, so I am really at a loss on this switch. LOL. After researching I think the red one is actually the tank heater switch.

Keesha,

I have slightly different model, but the switches should be the same...

From left to right, six switches (two groups of three)

1) Outdoor porch light
2) Step override (keeps step out even after door is closed)
3) Holding tank heaters (glows red)

4) Courtesy lighting (floor)
5) Bathroom light
6) Overhead lighting

Hope this helps,

Kurt

That's exactly what it is. I could here something clicking when I was switching it. Thanks so much!
