Glide Rite Air Suspension

What do we know about the Glide Rite (UK) air suspension?

Any knowledge in regard to AI fit and installation would be appreciated.

Installing any Sprinter full air rear suspension, either Glide-Rite or VB Airsuspension will require relocation of the generator, spare tire and rear storage box on an LoungeEXT model. Some of the air suspension components are mounted behind the rear axle and take up about 15" of space behind the rear axle. The Airstream installed optional VB Airsuspension eliminates the rear under floor storage box because the spare tire and generator must be mounted farther behind the rear axle.

What is there behind the axel other than a panhard bar and sway bar that could take up 15 inches?

There is also a frame to support the air bags and a few other components. Here are images of the details from Glide-Rite and VB Air Suspension.

Thanks for the details. Lucky for me the version for 2500 T1N Sprinter's appear to mount the frame between the swaybar mounts and the differential.
