Hi

Is this for something like bikes or for better maneuvering a trailer?

The front structure of the Sprinter isn't super beefy. If you are after significant "payload" that's going to be tough.

I had a front hitch installed on a 2021 Airstream I19 for the purpose of carrying bikes on the front. I had it installed at https://www.hitchproandtow.com in Eugene Or and they did a great job.
However, the bikes sat really high on a Kuat rack on the front and since we were taking them on a long trip decided to use the rear hitch instead. Should be ok for short trips.

I would love to see a pic of the bikes on the front hitch, if you have one. Thanks.

I did not take any photos but the bikes were fairly high up and for safety reasons I would remove the seats to see better. I forgot to mention the main reason I am not using the bike rack on the front - it disrupts the adaptive cruise control function and makes the cruise control totally inoperable. Ok for short trips, but not for long ones.
