Front and Rear TV Dilemma

Hi all

We have a 2014 AI and just noticed the rear TV will not work unless the front TV is on. We are running Direct TV. Not sure if this is due to receiver being connected to front TV, thus requiring it to be on to be able to view rear one.

Anyone experience this?

I’m wondering how this can be corrected and if it can be.

Thanks for any input.

If you have only a single DirecTV receiver, how is the rear TV connected to get DirecTV?

I have a modulator connected to the composite video and analog audio outputs of my DirecTV receiver. I feed the modulator into the trailer side of the satellite/cable jumper cable jack.

The DirecTV receiver is connected to the LR TV with an HDMI cable. When the LR TV is turned off I get a message on the BR TV that I must reduce the resolution to get a signal on the composite outputs. I press some button on the remote twice (don't remember which one) and the picture shows up on the BR TV, but in standard definition. I intend to try hooking up the LR TV with component cables and trying that.
