Flashing inverter light (Multiplex primary panel) inop Inverter ...

Hola ~

Any troubleshooting thoughts please?

Symptoms:

Occasionally turns itself on (the inverter does or “did” last week).

Now, zero functionality with inverter features/function. But we do have a flashing inverter light with no functionality.

Will usually allow me to turn it off successfully.

Circuit breakers are NOT tripped.

AC plugs do not work, not TV, VCR or other.

Have you checked the small 5 amp circuit breaker on top of the magnum inverter? It controls all the plugs you have no power on.

There is a terminal fuse at the battery, under a red cap if I remember correctly.

After spending our entire warranty period including a factory visit complaining about power issues, they finally replaced our inverter 2 weeks before warranty was done. (2014.5 interstate ext). All problems solved. Now to unlearn all the gymnastics we were given re GFI, power cord replacements, not able to run tv unless plugged in, etc.

Embarrassed to ask, but where is the inverter on a 2018 ASI lounge?

Under the roadside jackknife chair. Behind the fuse panel. You have to remove that jackknife chair to physically access the Magnum. There is a ventilation screen under the chair. You can get some access by unscrewing the fuse panel board, but it is very limited by the wiring in my AI.

Should have mentioned that there is an access hole in the ventilation screen that will allow you to reset the circuit breaker on the Magnum.
