What size socket is required for the drain plug on a Interstate?

On mine, the water heater and the fresh tank are both 15/16". I wrote the size on the inside of the water heater door with a Sharpie so that I don't have to try various sizes next year.

My water heater drain is 15/16" but fresh tank is slightly bigger - 1" or 1 1/16", I don't recall which. I carry those sockets with me in the AI - due to their large size that AI is the only place I have a need for them. I carry an 6" long 1/2" extension for the sockets and use the visegrips to turn it instead of carrying a big heavy 1/2" ratchet.

Interesting looking utility tool box addition, never seen that one before.
