Dash lighting insufficient

Hello: I’m wondering if I’m missing something obvious here. I find the night time dash illumination is way too dim for my 73 year old eyes. I’ve tried to increase the level via the steering wheel controls but I can’t increase it enough to help. It’s a 2011 interstate. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is there a twist knob on the light control? Have you tried turning it to the right? Usually, that increases the light on the dashboard.

That is not how it works on a Sprinter.

The streeing wheel controls DO NOT control the dash illumination.

The controls are on RH side of instrument cluster as +/- buttons as seen in attached diagrams from the 2010/2011 Sprinter owner's manual.

Hope this helps,

Talking

Is it as hard to find as the little buttons on my SLK Mercedes used to adjust the time? Took me hours the first time to change the clock.
