We are still very new to motorized camping but were have enjoyed first few "shakedown" trips in our 2021 Interstate 19 4WD and have a few longer trips planned for this fall. Still learning and looking for tips and tricks.
I noticed on one of our trips a WiFi SSID "CZONE####" forget what the numbers are). Doing a little digging I discovered there is a iPad app that allows you to do everything from the app you can do from the displays. A little more digging through the CZone screens I find the WiFi password and get my iPad with the app connected. Nothing. Probably should have posted here first but I reached out to CZone support (Navico). While communicating with them I told them the two displays have different versions of the software and libraries. They told me what I have is relatively old and they should be the same but Airstream had custom software. The only difference they know about is an Airstream logo on power up (I've never seen the power up screen). I reached out to Airstream and they agreed both displays should have the same software and library versions and that I needed to take it to an Airstream dealer. I also asked them where the COI is physically located (I found it in the electrical schematic) but they haven't told me that either. Last time I went to my closest Airstream dealer I received a $200 bill for replacing a $1.50 fuse that I had to tell the dealer was probably the problem (Zamp had told me but couldn't tell me where it was and Airstream wouldn't).
With all that background my question for y'all: Am I missing something, is there any reason I shouldn't get the current software and libraries from CZone and upload it to the displays? I have already downloaded the CZone config tool and favorites tool (CZone sent me the links). Reading the instructions it looks like I just download the current config from the COI to a memory stick, replace the software and libraries on the memory stick with the newer, add a favorites screen for the iPad and then upload from the memory stick back to the CZone. If there isn't any reason I shouldn't do this myself, can someone tell me where the COI is?
Forgive the diatribe and thanks for any help you can offer.
Billy
BTW... The blown $1.50 fuse that was preventing the Zamp solar controller from talking to the Battle Born batteries is under the driver's seat
