Covering a B Van

I'm buying a '98 B Van that has been garaged and looks great. We plan to leave it out and wonder if the Arco AquaShed is a good cover. Have been told that a cover is not recommended for the Airstream trailer and its clear coat finish. Is their a similar problem with scratching of mildew buildup with the B Van?

All covers act like sandpaper on the finishes when they get dust under them, regardless of what the inside fabric is. I'd really recommend not using one.

Over time, the cover will abraid the finish, no matter what the finish is. It isn't as big a concern with SOB coaches, because they usually aren't around long enough to have a noticeable problem.

Just keep it real clean and a good wax - the finish will stay good for a long time.

Buckey here. I appreciate all the astonishingly rapid responses to my question re. B Van cover. All printed and otherwise views will be considered. Learned a lot from this brief exchange.
