Correct Inverter?
The inverter on my 2018 Lounge appears to be dead, won't reset when pushing the button for 15+ seconds, getting the fault error on the panel, not charging. Checked the megafuse on the leisure batteries and it's good.
1. Is there anything else I should check
2. If not, is this the correct inverter? (I haven't pulled it out yet)

Inverters don't charge your batteries, the converter does that.

Not always true. Many inverters work as both the charger and the inverter. Take for instance the Victron MultiPlus.

In the Airstream Interstate B Vans, the installed Magnum units are combination inverter/charger.

Are the house batteries totally discharged? If so the inverter/charger will not charge. A minimum threshold voltage remaining in the batteries is required. I am not sure what that voltage is, but maybe someone with that info will chime in.

If you have not received an answer elsewhere... I can check the exact model number in a few days...
But it is a 1000 watts unit like this one: Magnum Technologies MM1012E-1000W-Inverter-Charger
But I bet it is what was mentioned already by WillieJ... batteries dead for the Magnum to even do something... batteries needs some level of charge for the Inverter/Charger to kick in...

I agree that this is a likely cause of problem. The Magnum inverter/charger Low Battery Cut Out is 10.0 VDC. This will cause an error indication. This is what the Magnum manual says about this condition:
"02 Low Battery Cut Out: This setting determines when the inverter
will turn off based on low battery voltage. The inverter turns off
automatically after the battery voltage has been below this setting for
more than one minute. This protects the batteries from over-discharge
and the AC loads from unregulated power (brown-outs)."
If the batteries are flat, they are likely below 10 volts. If that is situation best to disconnect the batteries and charge them back with a stand-alone battery charger.
Good luck VA-Cruiser.

Just so not to be confused by previous posts, the Magnum in our Interstates is an inverter/charger. Agreed, your batteries are too low and might be damaged meaning they won’t charge or won’t hold a charge as well, even once you get them recharged. You also have to get them above or around 12.4 before the inverter will come back to life without an error code.
If my Magnum went to heaven though, I’d be upgrading, just saying.

Truthfully, the Magnum hasn’t been the worst by far, but with us being spoiled, the more power hungry appliances that we like to use would cause me to want for a 2000 watt even if we were not trying to get the AC to run off the inverter!
We didn’t use the Interstate as much as i would have liked this year. Not to overshare, but just so people reading don’t think other things, my mom passed away in the late spring, so life and important situations sometime take precedent over other non-essential things. I had intentions to replace the Magnum earlier this year, but ended up for said reasons, limping along for a few charges on our new lithium batteries. I can’t wait to see how they perform with full charges as the Magnum would only charge them to 13.3 to 13.6 volts or so, Getting them up to 14.4 after putting in the correct inverter for charging lithium will be like Christmas! I do understand it’s better to fully charge lithium too, so I don’t recommend going super long without a lithium profile on an inverter. It was pretty short term for us.
Had I not come across the Multiplus I did, I may have changed my mind on the 2000, like I said on the other post. There’s certainly a lot to be said about keeping every inch of room available for storage and being able to put a 2000 in place of the 1000 would be attractive. I was debating myself and still not 100 percent sure I should have thought harder on the matter.
You have pros and cons both ways between a 2000 and a 3000 but so many have reported good results with the Victron Multiplus 3000, at least that helped to sacrifice a bit more room to have to take up outside the electrical system area.
Also remember Wachuko, you are the master at upgrading so you have to take that into account though, too . I hope you post your upgrade as there’s a couple posts on the 2000 but always interesting to see what works and what doesn’t along the way!
