Coffee is another hitch discussion, not gonna try to change anybody's mind about it but I can vouch for years of service from my Coleman stainless perc, this one.
https://www.coleman.com/camp-kitchen...000016403.html
It is a decent pot not sure about availability but we've used one and will continue using it in particular right on a 425, 413, 426 Coleman liquid fuel stove or a plain old wood campfire.

I spilled the Chemex coffee on the kitchen floor, sucked it up with the shopvac and it still tasted better than boiled perco...

Tasted better cause it finally got run thru the shop vac's filter.
I may not have classically trained taste buds but BH likes my coffee via a perc, or drip-o-lator or the monster 11qt cowboy pot.
We don't even have a working electric pot.

I think I have replied in a coffee thread before, but... I became addicted to the taste and convenience of Nespresso pods; all I need is an espresso or two each morning. I have the smallest electric one for normal camping and I bought a WACACO hand operated pump unit for dry camping. You pour hot water into it, screw on the cap and pump your espresso into your cup. The unit is small enough for backpackers. Ah, our addictions.

I like this Cuisinart.
It uses 550 w.
It's got a steel carafe (in case it falls)
It makes 4 cups (which for me is one 16oz. cup.)
Coffee snobs think a cup is 4 oz.???
No bells and whistles, one button.
Under $40

Most coffee snobs are also into quantity unless it's an espresso... I think the "4-oz coffee cup" is just an artifact of coffee-machine makers wanting to claim to make a certain # of cups without actually making their product any bigger. Generally it's more like 6 oz (which still doesn't make any sense, because a US "cup" is 8 oz, but a coffee cup is a teacup size amount of liquid and most everyone has a 12+ ounce coffee mug rather than a cutesie cup-and-saucer setup.)

Nothing electric makes drinkable coffee.

Bob, I’m going to totally disagree with you on this one. I believe coffee flat isn’t drinkable.
Admittedly during my short 9 year “career” in the Navy, an institution that runs on coffee, I was thought to be a total heretic because I didn’t drink the stuff.
Nor, apparently, was I capable of even making the stuff correctly. (My careful study of the methods and deliberately doing the exactly wrong things kept me off coffee duty!) To this day, my dear wife, a genuine Brit, is the only coffee drinker in our house. Go figure.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I figure I can pull over and conveniently make myself a quick cup of coffee from my newly purchased Chulux Kcup coffee machine without having to turn on the gas valve or fire up the generator.

I second that. For us Interstate owners with the limited inverter it works great.

Rich,
I'm thinking you're DW isn't 'electric' so no judgement is passed.
The thing's we like best with the 'old school' Chemex pour-over, is you have some real control over the brewing.
Fresh beans, adjustable burr grinder, a big cup and brew to taste. As far as 'flat' goes....think "Shock"

this is ironic, we just ordered a new coffeepot, a Mueller Austria Ultra Brew Thermal Coffee Maker, 8 cup (34oz) Carafe off of Amazon, we have used the small Cuisinart for at least 15 years, still works fine, the only issue is that I need to make two pots, we also have the stainless Faberware stovetop we use if we're off the grid, makes great coffee, cleaning the basket is kinda of hassle.

"People say money can't buy happiness. Not true! Money can buy coffee"
Gracie Burns boiled water and then put it in the freezer. She said that way if someone came over for a cup of coffee all she had to do was take the water out of the freezer and make a cup. A debate about how to make the best cup of coffee cannot be won. Bitters, oils, percent of soluble, speed of filter, size of grind, temperature of water, and never mind how/where it was grown or roasted. Main thing is coffee is vital. I like the pour over method. Call me a snob It wasn't coffee but the idea is the same: Northern Exposure Season 6 - Episode 2 - Eye of the Beholder. Re the energy aspect of the conversation the little Cuisinart works well and the bonavita 0.5 liter Mini Kettle at 900 watts is pretty handy too. (Remember Chris Stevens Airstream?)

My father was a cook in the navy - said they made coffee by whip-stitching grounds from a barrel into a pillow case and stirred it soaked with an oar... he was also given to hyperbole...

I love my morning cappuccino. Since I boondock quite a bit, I use a stovetop Bialetti Mukka Express, which I picked up off eBay.

I don't trust anyone what wares a Sub while making 'coffee', adds the white stuff and ends up with barely enough to coat the cup.

SPECIFICATION
Voltage: 120V~60Hz
Power: 800W (Two pins UL plug with 100cm power cord)
Yeah. That will work with the existing inverter.
I can't wait to start making changes to the cabinets... I am going with a proper espresso maker... Right now I use a Flair Pro manual espresso maker for my morning shot... I did give in for now and we got a small Nespresso machine in there as well that my wife uses...
Here... have a laugh watching me make my morning espresso at home...
My plan is to upgrade the inverter, then get some lithium batteries to replace the AGM units... just enough power to run a proper espresso machine without firing up the generator... I am not getting the lithium batteries to run the A/C... my priority is the espresso machine .. and the microwave.
I will not go with a lever machine because of space issues... but something with an E61 setup... So far the smallest one that I have found is the Lelit Mara X (wife likes it because that also happens to be her name ). At 1,400 Watts I will need an inverter with 2,000 Watts minimum output.

we use this breville product with freshly roasted beans
https://www.breville.com
Barista Touch coffee machine ,
Model: BES880 BSS
All within a compact footprint.
A built-in grinder delivers the right amount of ground coffee on demand and
with a 3 second heat up time, you go from bean to cup, faster than ever before.
It even does the hot milk my wife loves for her morning tea

Coffee by nature is post NOT pre FAST.
Take the time needed for proper brewing and the FAST that arrives later is more enjoyable.
It is a drug after all.😂
