Should be easy enough to fit a decorative extension from the big box auto parts store. My thought is to use an over sized diameter and length allowing for an air space around the pipe effectively creating a heat shield from the hot pipe as well as extending the hot gasses further out. In other words, one long enough to slide over the length of pipe in front of the tire and sticking out a few more inches from the vehicle.
On mine, there is already a heat shield on the pipe. It has a fair amount of airspace and with all the moving air, i doubt it gets very hot. Ill try testing sometime
It is crudely shielded, and that thing gets scorching hot. I’ve had the misfortune to make contact with it a few times while the vehicle was standing. Ouch.
