Cabinetry For Interstate

Hello. We would like to replace our left passenger seat (behind the driver seat) with cabinetry so that we can have more storage. We find that we only use the left passenger seat for storage. We plan to travel long-term in our Interstate and could use the extra storage and convenience. Does anyone know where to find replacement furniture/cabinetry for the Interstate? Has anyone else done this?

Hmmm, that sounds like a really good plan.

You might contact the factory, and see what they can tell you about cabinetry for a 10 year old rig, but my first thought is to find a local carpenter who can make you something that blends in well in terms of design and stain it to match your existing cabinets.

Good luck, and please keep us posted here.

Here my solution. I made it out of available shelving and think it looks ok.
Sorry for the mess we live in it for 3 month now on the Alaska Caravan.

There are several folks out there who have done similar type projects on sprinters using a product called 80/20.

Here’s a link to one of them;

Sprinter-source.com is another good resource to check out too!

Good luck!
