Try extending awning a foot or so, then retract again.

I found that after long trips, the awning seems to extend a little, so I extend it a little and retract as toskeysam suggests as part of pre-trip check.

Maybe in a couple of years, Sprinter will get in the 21st century and put a message on the display as to what various alarms are for like most other newer vehicles do.

We were camping where it was freezing at night. I had the awning open but closed it before we went to bed. I did not think we had any frost on the awning. This morning driving home the dreaded beeping started. We pulled off the road and extended the awning. Water poured out. It must have frozen during the night and melted as we drove in the sun. You learn something new with every outing.

Sprinters do not have awnings. They are an AS accessory installed by AS. A Sprinter is a truck. A modified truck. Some of us forget that. Peace, jim
