Bed setup from inside the coach only?

All the videos we’ve seen show that you must walk outside to prep for setting your bed up on the Airstream Interstate 24GT. Walk to the back, pull off the headrests, pull out the extension bar, flop down the pads, then go back into the coach to operate the electric system to lay the seat flat.

I am assuming (risky I know) that this can all be done from inside the coach if it’s raining by reaching over the back of the rear bench seat?

we do all of that from inside. Never have gone out back to set up the bed.

the only we've gone out there is if I had stuff stacked in the back so the rack wouldn't slide out, which does happen sometimes.

We went by the Buffalo Trace distillery in KY a few weeks ago, and I may or may not have bought more bourbon than I'll probably ever drink, and it was piled up back there.

It happens.

Agreed can all be done from inside
We actually are lazy. We dont remove headrest. Don’t put down extensions just fixed back garage carpet so it lays flat on times back there and acts as a ledge
