B190 Air conditioner wiring location

Hello,
I have decided to put an air conditioner in my 1989 van and have a question for everyone, Do I have to add a plug wire to my new air conditioner in order to plug it into the outlet at the top of the cabinet or is there some other hidden wiring. Thanks, Donald

I thought I would answer my own post so others would see what I found out about air conditioning wiring location. it appears that the early models did have an electrical outlet close to the ceiling if you wanted to install an air conditioner. I found a 1985 Airstream van on ebay showing a plug comming from the air conditioner. my plug on my 1989 is located on the wall above the stove in the top of the cabinet.
