Autoleveler on New AI 24GT

I got the E&P hydraulic level system for my 2021 24GT. Reading the manual, I must say - I got confused. It says 'never raise the vehicle completely' and 'if the wheels no longer have contact with the ground, this can lead to instability and dangerous situations. What does this warning imply? Is it about the strength of system holding up the vehicle or is it about the soft or slippery surface underneath the vehicle? Adhering to this instruction, I found on many occasions I wasn't able to level the vehicle, where I would have been able to do so with my lego blocks.
The manual also lacks certain specs. For example, the automatic leveling would stop if the slope is too steep but the manual does not mention about the degree limit.
Anyone has good suggestions?

By the way, someone asked about the reduced clearance by the leveler - it doesn't. The generator exhaust is lower.

The levelers are strong enough to raise the vehicle’s wheels off the ground. The issue is stability, especially if raising the rear wheels which are braking the vehicle. My understanding (and what I have had to do once) is that if auto leveling raises a wheel off of the ground, you go into manual mode and lower that end/side until it touches. The van won’t be perfectly level, but it will be as level as the system is capable. I haven’t yet had the system tell me the slope is too steep, but based on using a leveling system on a Class A, I would do the same thing - simply let it do the best it can, make sure no wheels are off the ground and live with not being perfectly level (or move the van if it was really bad).

Thank you! I did a little more research on the subject outside this forum. There seems to be a consensus that the rear wheels should not be lifted off ground. Some people place blocks under the lifted front wheels for insurance, which I think is a good idea.

Do any of you use the “footplate covers” as referred to in the E&P manual or any other device to protect the footplates from certain surfaces?

I just used my leveling jacks for the first time this weekend on a nice clean concrete pad. Really nice to have but a little tricky to use the first time. I admit, the manual came in handy ; )
