Thank you for posting the procedure. I found the tools to do this in my documentation folder but I have never been able to get the tools up close enough to the motor to use them. There must be a trick to it but so far I have been stymied on how to access them. I need to replace one set of motors on the drivers side rear. Has anyone located information on how to remove the shades for replacement? I presume, once you have them out, the limit adjustment access would be much improved.

Are the shade motors bad or have they just lost the program signal from the remote ? It is not likely both would go out at the same time without a loss of power to both. You didn't mention trying the reprogramming of the rear DS shades and that could fix it. The first step in reprogramming is holding the small switch located in the shrink tubing ( page 9 of attachment ) and the shade should move down and back up quickly. If the shade moves the motor is OK and just finish the programming instructions.
If the above fails next step would be to check if power wires are making good connections and this would require removal of the wall panel. The screws holding it in place are in the bottom of the overhead cabinets. There are two in the front and one in the rear cabinet, and one that is up above the fold down wing for the bed that you access from the bottom.
