Adding diesel generator to 2020 Interstate

I do want to upgrade my generator. It is loud, vibrates and not fuel efficient. I am considering the new model Onan on the new Interstates. However, my dream would be having a diesel so I would not have to use propane. I do understand changing the heat and hot water systems to diesel. I do not know if a diesel would fit in the current space occupied by the current propane unit. I would be happy using my existing diesel tank knowing I would not have the full capacity of the tank for the heat and water heater. I would get rid of the propane tank. Any thoughts

I've never attempted to research this, however, from what I remember on some forums is that folks have posted that diesel generators are too large to fit into the space occupied currently by the propane model in our AI's.

Unfortunately, you’d be hard pressed to get any diesel model to fit.

The new 2500i inverter is way quieter than any diesel anyhow…

I only know of one diesel generator that was able to fit under a Sprinter. It was the 3KW model by Power Tech, but I'm not sure if they still make it as it is no longer listed on their web site.
https://www.powertechgenerators.com/...sel-generators

The Sprinter Store has still has one listed:
https://www.sprinterstore.com/produc...sel-generator/

Found another company in Colorado that also says they offer this generator:
https://sprintergenerator.com/

But this generator reduces the rear ground clearance a lot as discussed in this old Sprinter-Source Forum thread:
