Thanks very much for this.

So pretty well stocked for 3 weeks on the road and still 530lbs under the limit. Very nice!

Is tour Interstate a 2500 or 3500? & is it 4x4? I have a 2017 4x4 interatate GT and I'm looking to upgrade the springs and shocks. Currently my van is waiting in line at the dealership because my black tank valve is not functioning, and I would like to get a head start on research for upgrading my suspension, but I can't get my van weighed at the moment.

Weight & 2 wheel drive

My rig is a 2017 two wheel drive. I have replaced the four AGMs with lithium batteries since then, which reduces rear axel weight by about 200 pounds.
I have had even wear on same-axel wheels but front tires wore out first.

Good luck with the black water valve. I had to replace the macerator but the valves have been behaving nicely. My theory is that going unused does the macerator and valves no good - they may tend to freeze up as will many unused mechanical devices. Now I exercise them monthly when I run the AC for maintenance.

Good info to know. I like the idea of running systems monthly in the winter months to confirm everything is in working order. My last trip was in February and my black valve froze when temps dropped into the single digits. Or at least that's what i thought because when i parked indoors the value worked again.

I haven't upgraded house batteries yet, but other than 4x4 we are similarly outfitted. I have upgraded to 3 solar panels and carry boxes and a bike rack with 2 e-bike off the hitch.

Front tires wore out well before rears.
