2021 Sprinter

Hello Airstream Family.

In addition to our 2018 Airstream 30’ Classic we purchased a 2021 Sprinter Galleria 24 FL Li3 in July of 2023. The van was bought specifically for music gigs.

My husband was in a national touring band. Because we jumped from gig to gig it was not practical to always use the Airstream. The van made it fast and nimble to travel.

Well…the band broke up and now we have this lovely, well maintained 24’ Sprinter Van setting.

Having done our shopping I found this van to be nicer then the Airstream Interstate and less costly then an Atlas especially since we have the full Li3 lithium package. We can drive 2 hours and our batteries are fully charged from the dual alternator. The fuel mileage is great getting 21 MPG frequency. Many times we could drive right to the venue and park at the stage. The AC will run 6 hours on a full charge which is a life saver at outdoor gigs.

So the big question is how do I sell this tool that we no longer need? These diesel B+ class vans are expensive and I need to find the right forum to get qualified buyers. Any suggestions?

The van has 17,000 miles is in excellent condition. Non-smoking and no pets.

$125,000 OBO

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would become a member at Sprinter Source: https://sprinter-source.com/forums/index.php?forums/14/ And ask a few questions then post it up in the classified section over there. It looks like a really nice van!

Also I might add that you have the last year that the OM642 6 cyl was offered in a US Sprinter which could be a selling point.

Looks like a beautiful rig.

You should place an ad here, also RV Trader, the latter being where I sold mine last summer.

Good luck,

Maggie

Thank you. That is helpful information.

I tried to place a classified ad here on the forum but there was no category for “other brand”. I saw only categories for Airstream.

The van is super nice and a joy to drive. Since my husband is usually resting I get to do all the driving! I especially like the quick overnight stops at a Cracker Barrel or a Harvest Host. We have also overnighted in a church parking lot and went to services in the morning. Made a small donation and the church was thrilled.

And I knew this was the last year for the 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine. It has 188 horsepower and 7 speed transmission. Thanks for reminding me the older version is actually the better version.

We towed a small trailer to haul our golf cart to a bluegrass festival. Super fun and gave us extra room to take along all the camping goodies; grill, Solo, generator…the fun stuff.

This thread might get yanked for forum violations (sales) so I won’t mince words:

Your rig is *not* a 4x4, correct? I see from published literature that was an option on the model but you don’t mention it.

Ooops…I don’t want to break any rules but I could not find a proper place in the classified.

And this is NOT a 4X4. We choose not to get this option as it makes the step in 3” higher. At our age the higher the step the more I stumble. The wide entry door and step running board were a big selling point especially loading gear.
