2020 interstate 19 awning

Tried today to deploy the awning and it didn't move at all. I press the awning on and a couple seconds later it switches to off.

Anyone seen this?

Does the awning make any sound or move at all when you try to extend it? If not, I would check to see if you blew a fuse.

I’ve seen this on our once every four or five times. What happens is I’ll reach up and push the lip of the awning up and then the awning will pop out 2 inches and extract.

No progress. The czone shows no voltage.

Called dealer and airstream. They all say to take to factory.

Czone? shows no lithium house battery voltage. ?

On an 24gl vs30 2020+ the awning is fused under the drivers seat and tied to engine battery as a safety’s measure so that awning closies when coach drives away.

Hope that helps. For me I prefer 2 hrs troubleshooting a fix then an 8 hr drive. Especially if this happens camping

Did the awning ever work? Is this van new to you?

3OnOurWay has good suggestion about pushing on awning to get it started.

I purchased this new and yes it worked before. When holding down the extend awning button on the czone nothing happens and it show 0 volts on the screen when doing so.

I've checked fuses with the exception of the under the seat as mentioned. I don't see anything underthere for a in-line fuse. Do I need to remove the floor panel to find this?

Can you attach a photo of the C zone and where you’re seeing 0 V

that 0 V means your house battery is dead?

but the awning at least in a 2021 24GL is wired to the chassis battery upfront and that fuse is in the driver seat, so it works like side step independent of house batteries if they die for safety

Ok I feel some of my suggestion could be helpful from 24 to a 19 on the awning wiring.

Did you locate awning fuse ?

From a previous post on a 24 it looks like the awning is 15 A in location 10 hopefully nearby for 19

But honestly, on mine once I hit the awning extend on clone

I have to slight tap ( I haven’t climbed up there to find out why( once every five times while the motor is pushing awning out

Issue with awning repaired at factory.

Both awning motors were replaced from short in the wiring. One would have to think if the electric awning is really worth the trouble, no choice as that's how it's made. Thanks to all the troubling shooting tips.
