Coffee Break is right. On newer Interstates, it’s an on/off switch for the optional Airstream router. You can see it on page 9-17 off the 2021 Interstate manual, (the first electrical schematic) shown roughly in the middle of the page and listed as, “Coach-Network Key”. I was curious where the wires terminated and had a hunch it was the unused 5.5 mm power cable tip located in the upper cabinet above the bed, next to the coiled, unused airstream antenna wires. If you open the cabinet door and reach around to the right where you can’t see, you’ll feel a bunch of wires hanging on a hook. This, I guess, is where they would install the router since 6 mini-coax cables end there. I didn’t receive a key for the switch in question but I pulled the panel and put a jumper on it. Sure enough, there is now 12 volts coming out of the power tip in the cabinet. The good news is, I now have another source of
12V in the overhead!
