2016 Interstate Grand Tour rear speakers

Hello everyone. I am new to the Airstream Interstate. We purchased this used from a dealer. I have familiarized myself to just about everything but cannot figure out how to turn on and get sound out of the two speakers in the rear cabin. Any help is appreciated.

Hi fuller,
The rear speakers are connected to the house stereo (it's separate from the in-dash system). In our Interstate 19, the house system is a Garmin Fusion that is in the overhead between the passenger and driver seats. I'm not sure where it is on yours, but if you don't already have a copy of the manual, you can download it here: https://www.airstream.com/owners/manuals/ and it should point you in the right direction.

Thank you Jim,

No I do not have the Garmin. Only thing in the overhead is the DVD player. I did get sound out of one of the speakers from the Kenwood in dash. I will keep trying. Thanks again.

Hi Scott,
I didn't think you'd have a Fusion like our rig, but was mentioning it as an example. I took a quick look at the manual for your rig, and it looks like everything is connected through the Kenwood. (https://www.airstream.com/wp-content...manual-192.pdf Section 9 page 34 has the audio video schematics. If you are only getting sound out of one speaker, then it's most likely a wiring issue or failed speaker. (Although it could be something as silly as the balance control being all the way to the left or right).

Hopefully someone with the same rig will see this and chime in.

My right speaker was intermittent (sometimes had audio and other times none at all) so I swapped it with left. So far both speakers are working as far as I can tell.
