2015 Interstate

When do you think the 2015s will be available to order? With the new chassis 2014.5 I can't imagine it will be too late in the year. Just wouldn't think that Airstream would want to confuse? consumers for too long.

Depends on how many 2014 chassis they have. They'll build them out before starting the new chassis. At least that's the way they done it in the past.

I bought my 2013 AI on 2012 Sprinter in Oct 2012. I recall they were first available in August 2012.

Getting closer with my local guy but will probably have to order. Seriously thinking about the Ext Lounge with only 3 captains chairs. It will make the stove & sink cabinet & counter a little longer, push it forward for easier refer access and add a full wardrobe. Just didn't want to order and have mine be the last 2014 off the line

I've been wondering the same thing. Bought my 2013/2014 in November 2013. However, it'd been used as a demo, and had 4500 miles on it when I bought it. Not sure when it was built or put in service.

Next time you are at yours look in the door jamb for a build date. Really not sure for sure but that is where it is on cars. Would be interesting to find out.

I ordered my Interstate at the beginning of March 2013. It arrived at the end of March and turned out to be a 2014 model (not the 2014.5 of course).

I was very happy! Especially to get the Magnum inverter/charger. I was totally ignorant at the time.

Financially it would be better to risk consumer confusion than be stuck with an inventory of out of date Sprinters they could not use but had already paid for.

2015 ai

Ordered our 2014 ext in Oct 2014 without the two rear seats. Unless you need the chairs it really opens up the space. Just spent two month in Florida and the add room was great. The van is a bad "bad ass" with NO issues. Enjoy

Since I saw the 2014.5s out I thought (perhaps mistakenly) that they were done building on the previous chassis. Maybe not.

Wait a minute. Are you saying that you ordered an EXT with only 2 captains chairs? Was the galley moved forward?

Really think I like the idea of 3 chairs.

Based on what I was told when I got my 2011 on a 2010 chassis, they build out the remaining year's chassis starting the new model year.
