2012 Interstate 3500
I own a 2012 interstate with the house batteries located under the back seat stacked one on top of the other in a deep battery box.I have two Interstate AGM batterie for the house. Does anyone use a Noco trickle charger 2.5 amps while storing this coach. I am thinking about adding this charger just for the two house batteries as they seem to both go bad every winter. I will unplug the chassis battery and then just add this charger to the two house batteries. In the past if I have everything turned off there seems to be ghost loads drawing these batteries down. I tried plugging in & activating the trip lite inverter- charger but this seems to be too much charge hence also killing these two batteries over winter. I figured I would drill a hole in battery box and add the wires from the Noco charger to each battery and just trickle them while in storage. Thoughts on this idea?
