1989 B190 Ford Airstream - MANUAL WIRING DIAGRAMS

Hi fellow Airstreamers!

I have an old Ford econoline e350 Airstream conversion - often called B190.

Airstream are being very unhelpful and I need to get a full owners manual with wiring diagrams so I can fix things going wrong inside

please help

I found the Airstream tech I contacted via e-mail to be very helpful. Sent me the electrical diagram I needed to locate an in-line fuse to the Tank Monitor Panel I did not know existed. However, I did not ask for a full set nor did he send one.

It doesn't hurt to ask them.

I was given wiring diagrams for our 2007 when I asked for them.

Generally on newer models, Airstream might want to keep that information in-house as proprietary, but there's no business losses to be realized by sharing diagrams on equipment that is no longer produced, and has not been in some time.

I don't know if this will help you because my communications were back in 2016, but this was the CSR who obliged my request for the 2007 electrical drawings:

Full wiring diagrams have been in the back of Interstate owners manuals since 2015. You might try pointing that out to the Airstream rep on the phone as justification to set you the diagrams for the old models. However it is possible that they don't have a very good wiring diagram for the 1989 models.

There really isn't anything uniquely proprietary in the Interstates or older B190 vans. It's more likely Airstream trying to protect their dealers service departments and limit an owners ability to do their own repairs.

ALSO HAVING DIFFICULTY WITH MY FREEDOM CANOPY AWNING - I CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT MODEL IT IS TO SEEK SPARE PARTS - ANYONE ANY IDEA WHAT FREEDOM CANOPY MODEL THEY PUT ON FORD ECONOLINE 1989 AIRSTREAM CONVERSIONS?

Have you looked on B190.com ? Although B190.com is relatively inactive compared to AirForums, the advantage is the members on that forum are focused strictly on the Ford chassis and all things related to the B190. When we owned our B190 we found the B190.com forum to be very helpful.
