Where can our greyhound sleep

Have any of you found a way to protect the leatherette from sharp dog nails but let your dog up onto the seats. We have a greyhound who has one couch with a pet cover at home that she lays on. For her comfort and ours would love to find a way to give her a similar place out of the walkway but not risk the leatherette. First camping trip this weekend a finding out how big she is when we are trying to walk around our Flying Cloud 25 RBT. Thinking of some way to get her bed to stay in place on the dining table in a lowered position or where the pull out is between table and bathroom. Would love to find a bed that fits or some other solution. Set up in the rain yesterday hoping for some dry weather since the rest of Florida is dry except here in St Augustine lol. Happy weekend everyone.

We had a Grey named Dash in our 28. We put a dog bed on the sofa and pulled it out a little (the sofa slides into a bed) and he and the sofa was fine! Ultra leather is pretty tough and has held up for 6 years now.

We have two whippets now, a little more room in the airstream- the sofa doesn’t need to be pulled out - but double the beds [emoji23]

Cheers! Chris

Thank you Chris! I just ordered a 52x40 dog bed that almost completely replaces the existing cushions on the pull out section so I can take the leatherette cushions out so bed is not quite so high. Good to hear it worked for you. Our mini dachshund lives happily under the dining table but need to get the big dog out of the aisle. Thanks for getting back to me. Fingers crossed it works like it did for you! Bill

Blanket over the gaucho for fur management. Works for labradors. On the bed with me at night.
