Taking care of Toby

It hit 104 here in Chico today. May be hotter tomorrow. For those of you with dogs, heres an easy and fun way to help them cool off. Take a large butter tub, fill with water and freeze. I then put it on top of an overturned 5 gal plastic bucket. Toby loves it.

Thanks for the cool idea. My dog loves a frozen treat when he is outside. It's the only place he can eat such treats.

I do something similar- I take a plastic tupperware cake dome and fill it with water and toys then freeze it. They will lick through the ice to get at the toys. Tennis balls and bones work well.
