Nice! Our 10 yr old bro/sis doodles have about 15,000 camping miles on them. Our "dogs" would never forgive us for going camping without them.

Our Labradoodle loves the AS! He is either on the couch under the tv, under the table or on the bed. No problems and plan on taking him for every trip we have planned this year.

What's your point? This comment serves zero purpose unless you intended on being hurtful by using a more derogatory term. We are perfectly aware they are crosses. Poodle crosses with a variety of other breeds are the most wonderful, intelligent and joyful dogs on the planet....regardless of what you or West Minster decides on the matter.

Every "purebred" dog breed is a "deliberate mongrel" - e.g. man-made breed. It's how they were created in the first place.

If you want to worry about this a little more, look up "Catahoula Leopard Dog" - this purebred is made up of at least three other breeds: (1) Greyhound (2) Spanish Mastiff and (3) Native American Indian Dog.

If you want to a truly "purebred" dog, you'll want to check out "pariah" breeds such as the Canaan Dog.
