Dogs First Outing In The A/S
The first night was a bit rough due to the thunderstorm and the storm sensitive Dane, but they seemed to enjoy the extra walks and the cool sleeping (a/c works better than the one in our house). We spread some picnic blankets out on the subfloor to protect their footies.
Before you know it, they'll like it better than your regular house! Actually, if they're like my two, they're happy to be wherever you (and their food dishes) are. Beautiful looking pups!

They do get to waiting at the door or running into the truck so as not to be left behind. Take them exploring and swimming and running and smelling well anything and they love going camping too!! That's one BIG dog. Nice to have companions.
Here's what we did for sleeping arrangements in our AS/MH with twin beds. We simply slide a piece of plywood under mattresses and apply the foam then make it up as a giant bed. Our pooch is 14 yrs. old and needs help getting on bed but once he's up there it's very comfortable for all. While on the road this set-up is also great for quick naps without worrying about being level and sliding off the twin.
Here he is on couch at home in his favorite position.

Well, unfortunately for the dogs, the kids will get the gaucho when it gets installed again. As to where the bed will reside at night who knows, but they both have nice beds. One has an orthopedic and the other has one stuffed with egg crate.

I love the sleeping pictures, they are just too cute. Drake likes to twist his body and sleep. Weirdest thing to see. Head points to one side, rear legs to the other. Just look uncomfortable to me... but I guess it's not!
