Camping w/ JRTs
I couldn't decide which pet thread to add to, so I am starting a new one. I hope that's OK with everybody.
We recently adopted a Special Needs Doggie from www.deafdogs.org and took her out for her maiden voyage this past weekend.
Everything was lovely, weather, doggies AND camper.. she even held a charge over the winter.
(camper, not dog)

Two CRABBY girls :-)
I found this dog bed at a local liquidator store, it had designer price tags on it of 180.00, but I paid a whole twenty bucks.

Great pictures! I'm sure having two JRTs will make camping even more exciting. They look like they've settled into the trailer just fine Cool crab, BTW!

Great pics! My dogs argue over who gets to go camping. Last weekend we took my English Setter. She had a ball! Loved the kids (and all the cake too!). Of course, she paid for it all when she got home! Tee Hee! Next time, I'll have to take the German Shepherd.

My Boxers love to go camping with us too. BTW, I like your floor. Is it tiles or one sheet vinyl. I am thinking of doing something similar.

tile flooring
It's tiles from Home Depot. it was VERY reasonable and VERY light. It's made the trailer smell better (it used to have a distinctive motel room smell ) and be a LOT lighter, because the old carpet was stained and G_R_O_S_S_.
I originally wanted the glow-in-the-dark tile forum people were discussing, but it was TRULY expensive.. I was willing to pay a good amount, but it would have been close to 400.00, maybe more. Plus it was industrial and heavy. I quite like this black & white stuff.. it was called "Candy Store."
Are you coming to Colorado Springs? I'll show you what I did if we meet up.

Pick, how many dogs do you have?
We've been asked to take in another one, (JRT who is deaf) and I am SO SAD because I really don't have the dog dynamics to do it.
Some people contacted me last NOVEMBER about taking her, and then changed their mind, and got quite ugly about it, so we adopted Dephne.
Wednesday night they called, saying come get her immediately.
The dog has been locked ina laundry room, in a mobile home trailer park, with no socialization and no hand signals She is a MESS.
I have a possibility of a home for her in Chicago, a close friend who admires MY doggies.

Yeah, I really like the way yours turned out. Do you have any problems with the tiles peeling up or anything? Was it easy to install? When is the rally in Colorado Springs? I've never been to a rally since I'm pretty new to this community. Do you have to be a member to attend? I would love to come if the Bubble is done.
