1987 $1000
Was introduced to a gentleman at a Christmas Party Friday night. He bought an 87 of some 20 something length ( he doesn't know for sure) for 1000. Saw it in the local retail rag, called the guy and said he would buy it if it was in OK shape. He has one of the strangest stories ever even for an Airstream purchase. There was a line of people waiting to buy the trailer when he got there if he didn't take it. Some having made higher offers but the sellor was giving him first chance at the agreed price. The condition of the sale was the Jack Russell that was barking the whole time like it wanted to eat him went with the trailer. Turned out to be a great dog.
